MONICA MOWDYLead Pastor
Monica has been a pastor for 14 years in various churches on the Cumberland Plateau. Monica is a graduate of Oklahoma State University and received her Masters of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary. She is married to Joe and they have 7 children between them; two boys, Kota Jack, 18 and Dylan, 17 still live at home and attend Smith Co. High School.
NICOLE HARRIMANDirector of Children's Ministry
Nicole has been blessed to be a member of Carthage UMC for 7 years. She has served in the Children's Ministry for 5 years, and has been Director since 2015. She received her Associate of Allied Health from VSCC in 2005 and works full time as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Nicole has two children, Marissa who is a freshman at SCHS and 5th grader Abby Jane at Forks River, and two doggie children Weezy and Ellie Mae.

DEANNA COWANAdministrative Assistant
Deanna Cowan has been the Administrative Assistant at CUMC since 2015. Deanna has an Associate of Science Degree in Accounting and is also a Certified Pharmacy Technician. She has two daughters, Kayla, who is a teacher & Emily, who attends Tennessee Tech in Cookeville. She lives in Elmwood with her husband, Michael and family dog, Lucy.
TUCKER HUSETHDirector of Youth Ministry
Originally hailing from Memphis, Tucker Huseth has just recently accepted the position of Director of Youth Ministry. Tucker received his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Middle Tennessee State University in May 2018 and spent a number of years serving youth organizations across the Nashville area. Tucker just celebrated his one-year anniversary with his college sweetheart and Communications head, Kristi.

JENNIFER PERRYDirector of Music Ministry
A member of CUMC for 11 years, Jennifer aims to help lead her congregation in offering up the very best worship to God through music. Aside from music, she loves spending time with family and friends, good food, nature, sunsets, and movies.

KRISTI HOOPESCommunications
Colorado native Kristi Hoopes is a singer-songwriter and recent graduate of MTSU's Music Business program with a passion for helping others grow in their relationship with Christ through media. As the new head of Communications, Kristi hopes to shed a light on all of the wonderful events happening within the Carthage United Methodist Church community.
