REV. TOM PIERCE

Lead Pastor
With nearly 20 years in ministry, Tom is eager to begin a new chapter at Carthage UMC. Born in Michigan and raised in Colorado, he attended the University of Colorado and University of North Alabama with concentrations in psychology and education. His Master of Divinity was earned at Vanderbilt Divinity School in Nashville. Tom is married to his wife, Diana, and has a son, Christopher, who is in his senior year of high school. A car enthusiast, Tom enjoys fixing up vintage rides and is currently working on a 1967 Datsun Roadster.

JENNIFER PERRY

Director of Music Ministry
A member of CUMC for 11 years, Jennifer aims to help lead her congregation in offering up the very best worship to God through music. Aside from music, she loves spending time with family and friends, good food, nature, sunsets, and movies.

AMY WATSON

Administrative Assistant
A recent Smith County resident by way of Mount Juliet, Amy Watson is a key player in making everything happen at Carthage UMC. Amy is married to Lay Leader Jason Watson and has three children. When she's not at church, you can find her quilting, painting, or tending to her chickens!
